Class:

Safe food handling, allergens, shelf life, and how recipes change when preparing food for customers instead of family.

Repeat the same recipe and measure the differences between the first and second production runs.

Week 3

Labels and Packaging

Class:

Build a compliant Georgia Cottage Food label including ingredient statements, allergen declarations, and required packaging information.

Costing and Pricing

Class:

Calculate recipe costs by the unit, understand yield and waste, and determine a selling price that supports profit.
